This publication was previously published by Public Health England, which closed on 30 September 2021.

This easy guide can be used by health professionals, family and carers to explain to people with learning disabilities what a CTC scan involves.

A CTC scan may be offered to some individuals following an abnormal screening result if colonoscopy is not a suitable procedure for them.
